On February 9, over 20 local residents attended the first meeting of the Rama Centennial Celebration committee. Mayor Darrell Dutchak and council have established this committee for the purpose to establish initiatives for the Rama Centennial Anniversary.

Kids love to have time off from school and the students of Invermay School enjoyed their winter break from February 20 to 24.

It's a good time to bundle up and head outside to see what's going on with Mother Nature at this time of year.

Robbie Bodnarchuk was a lucky winner of the Daily Lotto drawn on February 13 at the Invermay Winter Festival.

Unfortunately, the cold virus invaded the Invermay Health Centre in January and most of the planned events and activities had to be adjusted or cancelled. Those who escaped the bug did keep busy with some Valentines and crafting.

The outbreak is slowly lifting and people at the Centre look forward to celebrating January and February birthdays this month.

On February 16, the Rama Co-op recognized our farming community by serving coffee, muffins and donuts for the first-ever celebration of Canada's Agriculture Day.
