River Ridge Fish and Game held its antler measuring event on December 8 at the Canora Activity Centre.

There were a total of 15 heads measured, which is similar to last year. Eight of these (over half) were from junior hunters, 18 years of age and under. Two of the junior submissions came from Everett Paley and Kailey Sleeva, who shot white-tailed deer.

Out of the 15 sets of antlers submitted there were 11 white-tailed deer, two mule deer, one moose and one elk. Two were large enough to qualify to be recorded in the Henry Kelsey book.
