Norquay rink tops Canora Men’s Bonspiel

A Norquay rink won the A event of the Canora Men’s Bonspiel played March 8 to 12 among 16 rinks. Ken Newell of Norquay curled with Zach Newell, third; Evan Rostoski, second, and Kevin Ebert, lead, won the A event.

The Rob Zuravloff rink of Canora placed second in the A event. He curled with John Zbitniff, third; Brandon, Zuravloff, second, and Bill Foreman, lead.

The Terry Dennis rink of Canora placed third in the event, and the Zenovie Gulka rink of Canora was fourth.

The Ken Bazansky rink of Stenen topped the B event. Curling with Bazansky were: Perry Keller, third; Tom Baziuk, second, and Garrett Baziuk, lead.

Placing second, third and fourth in the B event, respectively, were: Leonard Bazarski of Canora, Kelly Beblow of Canora and Sheldon Luciw of Preeceville.

The Brice Dahlin rink of Norquay won the C event. Dahlin curled with John Knutson, third; Richard Johnston, second, and Josh Gazdewich, lead.

The Cal Homeniuk rink of Canora placed second in the C event; Merv Tomski of Canora was third, and Bob Lumley of Norquay was fourth.
