Break and Enter to garage and theft of vehicle

Sometime between September 15 and September 16, Canora/Sturgis RCMP responded to a break and enter and theft in Preeceville. There was a break-in to a back yard garage. The suspect entered from an unlocked door and was able to open the garage door and in the process stole multiple drills and socket sets. That same night a 2001 green Ford F150 extended cab was stolen from a house on Highway Avenue in Preeceville. Assault charges laid

On September 15, the Canora/Sturgis RCMP responded to a domestic dispute in Preeceville.  An adult male and female were arrested and each charged with assault.

Theft of credit card

On September 13 the Canora/Sturgis RCMP were called to investigate the theft of a credit card in Preeceville. The result of the investigation led to the arrest of a Preeceville man and charges being laid for multiple thefts.

Theft of tractor and attachments

The Canora/Sturgis RCMP are investigating the theft of farm implements that occurred between September 12 and September 13. Stolen was a John Deere 970 tractor with car tires on the front and a loader attachment. A six-foot John Deere rototiller and a Farm King five-foot rough cut mower were also taken. Break and Enter to sheds

Sometime on September 12 or September 13, Canora/Sturgis RCMP responded to the break-in of two sheds at a residence in Preeceville. The sheds were entered and tools were stolen. The suspect(s) stole a Crib axe, a soldering gun, and battery charger.  Anyone with information regarding this incident, please contact the Canora/Sturgis RCMP at 306-563-4700.

Break and Enter

Sometime between September 3 and September 4 a home in Canora was broken into. The suspect stole a five-inch TV and a Nintendo Wii gaming system. Anyone who may have any information is asked to please contact the Canora/ Sturgis RCMP at 306-563-4700.

Break and Enter to SaskPower compound

On August 24 Canora/ Sturgis RCMP was dispatched to a break-in at the Sturgis SaskPower compound. It appeared the suspects were looking for tools and copper.
