Town Council approved the purchase of a new mobility vehicle and authorized the Canora Gun Club to make modifications to the gun range at its regular meeting on January 22.

Council approved application to the Transit for People with Disabilities (TAPD) capital grant program for the purchase of a new mobility vehicle worth approximately $100,000. Council agreed with the terms and conditions of the program and will fund ongoing operation and maintenance of the vehicle.

Council agreed to purchase a 2019 Ford E-450 StarTrans Senator II mobility vehicle from Crestline Coach Ltd. at the estimated cost of $101,785, including fees and taxes.

Council authorized the Canora Gun Club to modify the gun range to ensure it meets the federal licensing requirements.

Council agreed to accept the voluntary transfer of title to the vacant lot property at 235 Fourth Avenue West (Lots 11-12, Block 12, Plan S1372) from Darcy and Katherine Rewakowsky.

A bylaw to enter into an amended street rehabilitation funding agreement was introduced, read three times and adopted.
