Members of the Canora squadron of the Royal Canadian Air Cadets gathered at the Gateway Co-op in Canora on October 29 to offer poppies to shoppers. The traditional Remembrance Day symbols were available by donation as part of the fundraising campaign for the Royal Canadian Legion. Lt. Darren Paul, commanding officer of the squadron, said that poppy sales would also be held at the Canora Liquor Store and The Bargain Shop.
