Canora Golf Club hosts men’s tournament

The Canora Golf and Country Club held its men’s golf tournament on August 25 with a total of 52 golfers entered. Ashley Straightnose won the championship trophy by shooting a score of 35.

The Canora Golf and Country Club held its men’s golf tournament on August 25 with a total of 52 golfers entered.

Ashley Straightnose won the championship trophy by shooting a score of 35. Allan Cote captured second place in the championship flight, followed by Tarrington Wyonzek in third.

Nathan Cherewyk took top spot in the first flight, with Darren Grindle second. Rob Auckland finished third.

Del Pasiechnik was the second flight winner, followed by Pete Steranko in second and Chris Shore in third.

Gerald Dennis finished first in the third flight. Mathew Bucholzer took second place and Robert Waselenko placed third.

Top prize in the fourth flight went to Lenny Bazarski, with Tom Foster in second place and Don Fournier in third place.
