Canora junior curlers compete at provincials in Saskatoon

After advancing through several qualifying bonspiels, Team Zuravloff, with two members (Zuravloff brothers) from Canora, advanced to the Junior Provincial Mens Curling Championship at the Sutherland Curling Rink in Saskatoon on Dec 27 to 31.

After advancing through several qualifying bonspiels, Team Zuravloff, with two members (Zuravloff brothers) from Canora, advanced to the Junior Provincial Mens Curling Championship at the Sutherland Curling Rink in Saskatoon on Dec 27 to 31. Team Zuravloff was one of only 12 teams to qualify for provincials.

The foursome played five games, with one win, and did not advance to the playoff round.

Team members said it was a great experience for them and a unique opportunity to make new friends.

Team members were: Brandon Zuravloff of Canora (skip), Lane Zuravloff of Canora (third), Jonathon Nagy of Yorkton (second), Cordell Struble of Moose Jaw, originally from Yorkton (lead) and Rob Zuravloff (coach.)
