Canora Ladies Golf Tournament declares individual and team winners

The Canora Ladies Golf Club held its annual tournament on August 14 with a total of 40 golfers participating, including 12 individuals in stroke play and 14 teams of two persons each.

In stroke play, Phyllis Paul of Crystal Lake won the championship flight with a score of 93. The first flight winner was Darlene Senkow of Canora Beach after a round of 105. The second flight ended with a first-place tie between Maxine Stinka of Canora and Holly Master of Crystal Lake, each with scores of 112. Stinka was declared the winner after a countback.

In team play, the winning duo in the championship flight was the team of Brenda Serfling and Bev Bielinski of Yorkton with a score of 83. The first flight winners were Sonja Sheasby and Gloria Signarowski of Yorkton with a 96. Eleanor Murray of Canora and Laura Pasiechnik of Preeceville took the top spot in the second flight after a round of 105.
