Team members were: Lane Zuravloff (skip), Ally Sleeva (third), Brody Harrison (second) and Cassidy Zuravloff (lead).

The weekend started well for the Canora rink with a 6 to 4 victory over Greenall School of Balgonie, said Cindy Smith, coach.

“But then later we lost to LeBoldus of Regina, the team that went on to win the A side qualifier to advance to provincials,” said Smith. “Our next game was against Yorkton Regional and for the first time all season we lost to them in what was our final game.”

Smith commended the student athletes for representing their school well and their display of excellent sportsmanship.

“Thanks to the Canora Curling Rink, coach Sharon Ripa and all the parents for their support of these players throughout the season,” Smith concluded.
