The Hashtags team, wearing black Flames’ jerseys, was the big winner in the annual Canora Flames tournament held on January 19-20.

A total of 48 players signed up for the draft held two days before the tournament, said James Trofimenkoff, Flames’ treasurer.

The draft formed the four teams which took part in the tournament, held in a round robin format where each team played the other teams once.

The Hashtags came out as the clear A-side champion with a perfect record of 3-0. The other three teams, the Flying Pylons, Kitchen KonneXion and Willy’s Wonderkids, all finished with 1-2 records.
